On 27.08.24 the third Erasmus+ Workshop “Increasing of digital knowledge in health care to enhance personalised medicine in the future” was held.

Part of the team of the CMDL “Kandilarov” took part in a specialized training focused on prenatal tests and microbiome with the topic “Innovations in the study of the intestinal microbiome and prenatal tests as approaches in personalized medicine”. During the training, participants learned in detail about the latest scientific discoveries and practices in these areas, including methods for early detection of genetic abnormalities in the fetus through non-invasive prenatal testing, and the importance of the microbiome for maternal and infant health. The event provided an opportunity to improve knowledge and acquire practical skills in these important areas of medicine and biotechnology.

Internal training always has a positive impact on the professional development of the team. They provide an opportunity to update knowledge, share experience and improve skills in line with the latest scientific and technological advances. Such initiatives improve the efficiency and quality of work while encouraging innovation and increasing employee motivation.
